We will provide you with the very best in support. We understand that not every marketing campaign is a fit for all blogs. If you have questions or experience any issues with the product or services provided, please contact us first so that we may work together to find a solution. We request that you not take any issues immediately to Twitter, your blog, or another social media outlet.
You agree to be ethical and professional when you opt in to one of our campaigns. It’s important that you act with integrity and only opt in for programs that you truly value or when you are excited about the product.
You agree to take responsibility for any exclusions or conflicts. Sometimes our programs require you to agree to not work with a competitor for a certain period of time. Additionally, if you participate in a program outside of Massive Sway that has exclusions, it is your responsibility to ensure that you do not opt-in to campaigns that will cause a conflict. Whenever this is the case, please note this on your calendar and be sure to not apply for anything that would be a concern.
You agree to write a sponsored post, and not a review. A review implies that you’ll be giving us your opinion of the product, which we cannot accept since you are being compensated. Instead, we want you to weave your personal stories and photos into a blog post based on a writing prompt that we provide.
You will participate and meet the deadlines associated with this campaign. While we understand that life can sometimes get in the way of blogging, we want to stress that by accepting a sponsored post, you are committing to see the project through to completion. Backing out reflects poorly on you and the blogging community.
The post must be uploaded to the blog that you submitted when you applied for this campaign. Please do not upload it to a separate blog, review site, etc, without first checking with us. We also ask that the post run through your RSS feed in real time… please do not back date.
Please do not amend or delete a sponsored post once it has gone live, unless we ask you to do so. Your post should remain on your blog indefinitely, so long as your blog is still operational. The same is true for any social shares. Unless explicitly permitted, you may not delete any campaign-related social shares from your channels.
Maintaining a balance between your sponsored content and your organic posts is very important! Brands love to work with bloggers who are telling their own story first, and then weaving sponsored posts into that narrative. To that end, please never post two sponsored posts in a single day.
You should actively engage with your readers if they comment on a sponsored post. If any concerns arise, please bring them to our attention right away.
You are required to properly disclose that your post was sponsored. We’ll always give you suggested disclosure text to use, but also suggest following the guidelines as set forth by WOMMA: http://www.womma.org/ethics/sm-disclosure-guide
You’ll be notified via email whenever these Guidelines are updated. Please be sure to read through and stay current on the latest version.
Our payment policy is simple – You get paid when we do. We do our very best to collect payments from PR agencies and companies we work with as quickly as possible. Often times this is within a 90 day window, but it can be longer.
In the event that a Client does not pay us, we are proactive with getting our legal counsel involved and doing everything we can to push a program to completion.
